The contribution refers about the specific method of therapeutic intervention named a terrain therapy, which is based on the change of therapeutic conditions during a stay in the countryside. The author realised a research of effect of terrain therapy on perceiving community and subjective experiencing of the 11 addicted currently resided in rehabilitation and therapeutic centre Retest. The research showed that the terrain therapy had brought improving the emotional feeling in group, enhancement of group cohesion, as well as reduction of anxiety and lassitude of clients.
