Time perspective and alcohol dependence: own findings

Bazínková, E.

Time perspective has become the subject of many research studies all over the world in the last few years. The majority of this study deals with its relationship to various forms of risk behavior. We focused on the relationship between time perspective and the risk of drinking initiation and development of alcohol dependence. In the empirical part, we compared the two groups - clients of the Detoxification Ward PL Šternberk and individuals who were excluded by using Alcohol dependence scale (ADS). The purpose was to explore whether among groups of different types time perspective is a significant difference. To test the set of research questions and hypotheses, we used the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI).
