Drivers who have driven under influence of alcohol but are not addicted to alcohol are required to attend the driver counseling program. The authors argue that treatment of drivers by controlled drinking is professionally unjustified and also unethical. The educational-training program focused to adjust the drivers' attitudes and their traffic behavior is more adequate.
