We analyzed some triggers and consequences of pathological gambling in the file of 25 pathological players treated in our hospital by using a questionnaire. Respondents negatively assessed the current legislation and legal remedies, despite the approved amendment to the law on gambling, in relation to restrictive measures and to protect themselves and their families against other serious consequences of their gambling.
