Experience with gambling prior legal gambling age (18 years) was common among Czech pathological gamblers (32 %); beside this, most of them reported to see underage persons gambling. Gambling related problems occurred often in financial situation (97 %) and family life (89 %). Problems with mental health, employment and crime were also common. 95 % of pathological gamblers considered the density of gambling sites excessive and would recommend the reduction of their number and working hours. 69 % respondents would appreciate the possibility of self exclusion and 93 % recommended the ban of gambling advertisement. Relationship between gambling and alcohol was reported in about half of this group of pathological gamblers.
